The person at the Windows PC sees your name, email and workspace, then Accepts or Declines. They can let you skip the prompt later.

Questions
Do I need to install anything on the computer I connect from?
No. You connect from Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari. Only the computer you want to reach runs the RemoteHub Windows agent.
Is it secure?
The person at the PC sees who is asking and clicks Accept or Decline before every session. Unattended access, which skips that prompt, needs two-factor sign-in. Each session is encrypted with TLS.
Can someone reach my PC without me knowing?
Not by default. Every connection asks you to Accept. You can let one person connect without asking; a bar still shows when they are connected, and you can revoke that from the bar or the RemoteHub access shortcut.
Is it really free for personal use?
Yes. Sign up for Free: 3 of your own computers, one session at a time, personal use only, no card and no time limit. You can help family by sending them an install link.
How do I help someone else on Free?
Click Add device and send them the short install link. They open it on their Windows PC and do not create an account. You then request access; they click Accept.
What does the computer I connect to need?
Windows 10 22H2 or Windows 11, 64-bit, and outbound HTTPS on port 443. macOS is still on the way. The agent runs as a Windows service.
Can I support customers who are not in my account?
Remote Support connects to computers already in your account, by name or device code. A one-time code for someone who is not in your account is still on the way, on Business and higher.
Is RemoteHub available now?
Yes. Sign up, add a Windows computer, and connect from a browser. File transfer, clipboard and a remote terminal are in the session today. Team invites, macOS, and a support code for unmanaged PCs are still on the way.
How is it cheaper?
We run on a lean edge network and keep the product to remote access and support, so our costs stay low and the savings go into the price.
