Why we built RemoteHub

Remote desktop software has become expensive, especially for freelancers and small IT teams who only need a handful of seats. At the same time, browsers have become capable of real-time, encrypted video and input, which means the technician side of remote access no longer needs an app at all.

RemoteHub combines both: a native agent on the computer you reach, tuned for hardware capture and encoding, and a browser on your side. Connections go peer to peer whenever possible over a global edge network, which keeps both delay and our costs low. Two-factor sign-in is required on every account, because remote access is too sensitive for anything less.
