Pre-launch draft. The operating company, its registered address and governing law will be added before RemoteHub opens to the public.

This policy explains how the operator of RemoteHub ("we") handles personal data.

What we collect

  • Account data: name, email address, sign-in method (password hash, Google account ID), two-factor settings.
  • Workspace data: workspace name, company name, members and roles, plan and subscription status.
  • Device data: device name, operating system, agent version, public key, online status, last seen time and IP address.
  • Session metadata: who connected to which device, when, and for how long, and whether the connection was direct or relayed.
  • Security logs: sign-ins, failed attempts, IP addresses and browser information, kept in the audit log.
  • Payment data: handled by Paddle, our merchant of record. We receive the subscription status and customer ID, not your full card details.

We do not record or store the contents of your remote sessions (screen, keystrokes, clipboard or files) unless session recording is available on your plan and switched on by your workspace admin.

Why we use it

To provide and secure the service (contract), to prevent fraud and abuse (legitimate interest), to send service emails such as sign-in codes, trial reminders and new-device alerts (contract), and to meet legal obligations. We do not sell personal data or use it for advertising.

Retention

Account and workspace data is kept while your account is active. Audit logs are kept for your plan's retention period (30 to 365 days). When you delete your workspace, we delete its data within 30 days, except records we must keep for tax or legal reasons.

Sharing

We use the subprocessors listed on our site, such as Cloudflare for hosting and Paddle for payments. We may disclose data where required by law or to protect people from harm, such as in response to abuse reports.

International transfers

Our providers may process data outside your country. Where required, transfers are protected by standard contractual clauses.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you can access, correct, export or delete your data, object to processing, or complain to a data protection authority. Contact support@remotehub.app to exercise these rights.
