SmartScreen warnings

Windows SmartScreen builds a reputation for each signed program over time. A brand-new release can briefly show Windows protected your PC even though it is signed.

Check the installer is genuine

1. Download only from your RemoteHub dashboard.
2. Right-click the file, choose Properties → Digital Signatures, and check that the signer is the RemoteHub publisher.
3. Optionally compare the SHA-256 checksum with the one in the changelog: in PowerShell run Get-FileHash .\RemoteHubSetup-*.exe.

Run it

If the signature is correct, click More info → Run anyway. Never run an installer that shows Unknown publisher or a different company name, and contact support instead.
